The Seven Realm Arts™
By popular demand, the Seven Realm Arts™ course is finally coming to Sydney Australia as a weekend intensive, taught by BDSM educator and the acclaimed author herself, Anne O Nomis.
This is a weekend intensive with seminars and practicums, limited to a very small number (7 max) in order to maximise the teaching and attention of Anne O Nomis within a short but very intensive timeframe.
Date: Saturday March 3rd - Sunday March 4th 2018.
Venue: Luxury apartment in central Sydney, with equipment supplied.
This is the Seven Realm Arts ™ Dominatrix Diploma certificate course, providing the ideal foundation of all skills and practices for current or would-be Mistresses/Dominas who are interested in learning BDSM in a lifestyle interest capacity or for their professional aspirations.
The course combines theory, psychology, practice and equipment used for all the major areas of the Dominatrix's craft arts.
Taught by renowned International author on the subject of the Dominatrix, Anne O Nomis, whose book 'The History & Arts of the Dominatrix' is the text used for training Mistresses in dungeons around the world. From the world's oldest BDSM training chateau, La Domaine Esemar, near New York, through to London Mistress School, and to Mistresses who teach across the USA.
The course covers the foundational knowledge, psychology, skills and equipment of the Dominatrix:
Introductory - Assessing interests, consideration for safety and mitigating risk, medical conditions that can affect play, consent, safe words and after-care.
Realm Art I – The Art of the Sublime and Powerful Woman
Realm Art II – The Art of Lowering the Man to Submission
Realm Art III – The Art of Bondage, Entrapment and Enclosure
Realm Art IV – The Art of Discipline, Training and Punishment
Realm Art V – The Art of the Bodily and the Out-of-Bodily
Realm Art VI – The Art of Cross-Dressing and Subversion
Realm Art VII – The Art of Fetish and Fantasy
At the end of the intensive course, attendees receive a Seven Realm Arts Dominatrix Diploma certificate, to mark their having achieved a comprehensive understanding of the psychology and foundational skills of the Dominatrix.
NB Disclaimer: The term 'Diploma' is used somewhat tongue-in-cheek, although attendees will receive a certificate signed by Anne O Nomis at the course's completion, and it is looked well upon by many professional Dominatrices in the industry who know of Anne and her course. It is not of course a Government-recognized / HECS course. (We're sure you realize this anyway, but just to spell it out.) Anne O Nomis is however one of the most well-known Dominatrix educators in the world, and her book is frequently said to be the best book on the topic anywhere.
About the Teacher:
Anne O Nomis has a Masters degree in Art and Archaeology from UCL (University College London). She undertook her professional internship in a leading dungeon, as well as additional tutorship by top Dominatrices around the world, researching the Dominatrix and her practices.
Her book, 'The History & Arts of the Dominatrix' was researched and written over four years, and quickly gained worldwide acclaim and has been described as the Bible for Dominatrices. It has been favourably reviewed by DDI (Dominatrix Directory International), Massad Magazine, Leatherati, Library Journal Review, and by Dominatrices themselves.
Nomis moved to Melbourne after 5 years living in Paris and London. She taught as one of the headline educators at Oz Kink Fest in 2017, and is presenting Villa Domme in Tuscany in June 2018. Her home base is at Passionfruit Sensuality Shop, a sex positive space in Richmond, Melbourne, where Anne has her own upstairs 'Education Salon' with specialist equipment for teaching.
Who the course is suitable for:
The course is open to all levels of experience from beginners to experienced Mistresses, including existing professional practitioners who wish to extend and enrich their existing craft knowledge.
For beginners wishing to go onto a career in professional domination, the Diploma course will not be sufficient of itself as a stand-alone course, as professional training typically takes 1 - 2 years. The Dominatrix diploma should thus be regarded as a stepping stone, to be followed by further training and ideally committed internship under a trained Mistress or in a professional dungeon. (That said, some of Anne O Nomis's previous students have chosen to springboard their career in domination from taking the course, paired with further practice and knowledge acquisition including tutelage from Anne, and have gone on to become successful pro-Dommes.)
Others used the course purely from a lifestyle interest, and expressed that they felt really confident, knowledgable and and empowered from taking the course.
